When I photograph little ones I often suggest that I travel to them when I can. I offer this knowing that kids tend to wander less when they're in a familiar environment and they tend to be a little less shy. Little J here was no exception to that as he's definitely a busy boy! He was so excited as I started setting up my portable studio, playing peek-a-boo from behind the backdrop and even trying to "help" me set up my light stands.
